Newcastle United have finally agreed to pay £12m to Tottenham Hotspurs to sign Andros Townsend, it was reported that Spurs chairman Levy, was reluctant to sell the Englishman for anything less than £14m and Newcastle only offering £10m but the deal went through when Spurs manager Pochettino intervened. Spurs who are currently fourth in the table would look to utilize the fee wisely in order to improve their chances to be in the contention of European football.
