EXPECTATION FROM THE DERBY:
League leaders man City travel to theatre of dreams this Sunday to face the mighty Manchester United. This derby fixture is marked as one of the most exciting and breath taking in recent times. Though the blue side of Manchester has turned out to be more brighter in recent times, Van Gaal managed Manchester United seems to be ready for the challenge. As usual there are a few drawbacks for both the teams. Likes of Sergio Aguero, and David Silva being injured and Vincent Kompany being match fit just a week ago lacking regular match practice, It is important for the blues that Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Wilfred Bony to take charge of offence. Elaquium Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi performing well for the blues till now and Aleksander Kolarov being match fit. City’s defence is expected to be tight and compact. Whereas, Manchester United’s form has been up and down through out the league till now, It would be interesting to see how they react in this fixture as the stakes of the Manchester Derby is always high. Likes of Anthony Martial, Juan Mata performing well and Wayne Rooney getting back to scoring ways, Manchester United is all set to give their noisy neighbours a tough time at Trafford. All together it is expected to be a an interesting fixture as both Manchester United and Manchester City are separated by just two points and sit next to each other in the points table.
Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Manchester City
